Additionally, all are members of our local, state and national dermatological and medical professional societies.ĭAV is a founding member of MD Value Care, an organization of independent physician practices in Richmond, VA. Our dermatologists are all board certified by the American Board of Dermatology.

Furthermore, our highly professional team members address all of our patient’s skin diseases in convenient, comfortable and attractive settings. Although we offer cosmetic services, the treatment of skin diseases and skin cancers is our specialty. Our doctors and physician assistants provide medical and surgical treatments for skin diseases occurring in patients of all ages. We have one office in Colonial Heights and five in the greater Richmond area.
Since then, Dermatology Associates has grown to twenty-one providers practicing at six central Virginia locations. The original office started on Hamilton Street in the near West End, but was soon moved to a house on Grove Avenue. Caravati, Jr., M.D., a Richmond native, founded Dermatology Associates of Virginia in 1969.
